But I like the idea someone posted before about making them to only work in the same zone. It would be good for raids I guess.

Any form of server wide channel without a reasonably low cap on the number of people allowed in the channel would kill EC, and if that is the case you might as well just add the bazaar and some moon cats in too and just continue ruining the classic immersion completely. That is what the death of EC does to EQ. We need a central place to go to, and that is as classic as it gets.

I support only adding stuff in the order of the original timeline of EQ. Any variance to that is not in what I understand to be the DEV's vision for this server.
