Default CHA stat for enc - mez, charm, aoe stun, fear, lull

I'm deciding on a race for my enchanter, and wanted to know which spell lines are affected by charisma. Mez is obvious, but the following are unknown to me. Does casting any of these spell lines make checks against caster's charisma? Does charisma affect the spell-effects' successful hit and/or length/duration - charm, fear, aoe stun, lull (can't recall any others)

I'm fairly certain Charm does, maybe lull but not the others. Did you check the Enchanter page on the wiki?

Charisma reduces the chances of critical resists (ie aggro) from casting lull. Can't help you on the other things.

yep, checked http://wiki.project1999.com/Enchanter but:
"Charisma primarily impacts Charm duration and the chance to gain aggro on a resisted Lull spell,, with a small benefit to Mez resists and the success rate of Mem blurs."
isn't super-clear to me (maybe I'm just dumb)

So, if CHA affects Charm duration, does it also affect Charm resist? Or does that run off MR, thus casting Tash line improves it?
Lull - can a target resist lull yet caster not gain agro?

And I assume fear and aoe stun are completely unrelated to CHA?

CHA helps lull line
CHA helps you hold charm, but is a tertiary check
CHA does not help Mezz, that is purely MR

Charm is based on Level, MR, then CHA.

Darkie for hide if you're a consistent soloer.

HE for stats if that's your priority.

In the end it won't make too much of a difference.

Once you hit level 4, your illusions make race irrelevant, but the stats remain important. Dark elves get slightly better int, but your cha will be 20 points lower. Dark elves get hide and ultravision, but enchanters get hide and Illusion: Dark Elf, so you can be invisible with infravision if you want.

By the stats, high-elf sounds best, but...

I went Teir'Dal (DE) because I love the feeling of getting one over on my enemies. I love to walk into Felwithe, a place where I am anathema to the inhabitants, without any of them suspecting. Also, CHA gear is cheap; you can often pick up a crude stein from some of the vendors in Oggok (while you are picking up the Stein of Moggok at level 8, something high elves cannot do until 12) for 7pp to gain an extra 15 cha.
