Where does it say I received liberal indoctrination? I said all through undergrad. I didn't begin to change until about 3-4 years after I graduated. I still retain many of my conservative beliefs, but surprise surprise, they rarely come up, because pretty much the only thing that gets talked about around here are with regard to me are a few key differences of opinion.
I'm pretty sure I agree with 90% of this forum on actual issues that aren't fiscal or religious. And my hatred of Trump stems far more from him as a person rather than the issues he represents. For example, while I disagree profoundly with Romney in many ways, I ultimately would have evaluated him about as highly (lowly) as I would Obama.
Participation in this forum affected my outlook on the military (Hasbinbad), not using Europe as an example of why socialism works (Raev), and profoundly clarified which reasons to criticize Trump make sense and which don't (Big J), causing me to heavily downplay his naughty language as an important consideration. One of you also got me on board with being against high corporate tax rates in favor of tax on the personal income of excessively wealthy individuals but I don't remember who made that great point. The gun threads caused me to evolve from an idiotic generic liberal "Ban all gunz" to gun ownership being a fixture of our national identity and mental illness wrought by a highly individualistc and alienating society being the issue.
