The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) will conduct low-altitude helicopter flights over the Las Vegas Strip and its surrounding areas, Wednesday, Dec. 29, through Friday, Dec. 31. NNSA’s twin-engine Bell 412 helicopter, which is equipped with radiation sensing technology, will fly at 150 feet above the ground at a speed of approximately 80 mph.

Sounds like there was a big oof with some stolen nuclear material or some accident with some daerk project and they are just doing a "routine" mapping thing.

So idk bet some literal Mexicans stolen the metal from some medical machine, forgot if Xray, mri, or catscan or w/e made jewelry.

They died even after selling the jewelry and so did a bunch of the people who had it and their families all got really sick. Good read if u can find a decent write up of the incident.

Anyway I feel like the whole planet got some cosmic radiation or something and most medical and gov r like downplaying it cuz a lot of people have minor-to-moderate radiation poisoning symptoms globally n like who knows covid could be kinda covering for that too...

So when see an article like this I'm like "lol" hehehehehe some labcoat fucked around and now we're finding out!

I've been here 10+ years and never remember getting a notice about routine radiation detecting helicopters before. But that stuff is stored like an hour outside of Las Vegas, maybe 90 minutes to Yucca so who knows.
