Never really thought about it that way until now Thulghor. I write for about a dozen different reasons and those that tend to react negatively assume it's for a sole reason.

Another curious thing is the shyness around positive feedback. I suppose RnF is sort of a bad medium for these. I do appreciate the PMs and in game messages I get about my stories (even the weird ones...usually~)
