12th Druid bumming around Misty Thicket

I haven't played EQ in almost two decades. Great to be back! So I started my favorite ever EQ character again, a Halfling Druid. I've been cruising through Misty Thicket and have gotten myself to 12th level. I'm running out of stuff i can solo here.

I'm thinking of heading over to the East Freeport/West Freeport area. Are there usually people there who could bind me for a few PP?

If you want to build some starter plat to get some spells, I suggest heading alllll the way out to west karana, find some bandits, they're about your level. They drop red sashes.

Take the red sashes to the paladin guild in Qeynos. There you can get a bronze weapon as a reward, which sells for 1-3 plat. Great way to get you those starter spells and some gear!

There will be people in the FP area to bind you however, to answer your question!

Thanks! I actually got a hefty donation (100pp) when I was level 2 so I'm suited up in all leather armor and have most of my spells through 14th. I have an urge to hunt whisps though and dodge gryphons! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Highly recommend chilling by the WC rings and hoping for some POTG from 60 Druids. Will make those levels breeze by in WC

Oh nice! Then slay those wisps! They get into the gardens and chase away the bee's.

I made it! Asked for a SoW and a very nice Druid teleported me to the ring at the WC (and threw in a SoW to boot)! Got a bind from another Druid and now I've killed a few wisps! What a trip! I haven't been in these zones in forever, but it's all coming back to me! Sorta!
