Default RMT... is it real?

As RMT is HIGHLY frowned upon within the P99 community. It is shocking to read/back read some of the controversial P99 forum posts (RMT related). Can any of it be... proven? With this community's staunch stance against RMT, I believe the largest scandals in P99 history MUST be RMT related. However, I personally, have never witnessed overwhelming evidence to prove any individual guilty. Have you? If so, how is it done? Is money actually being made?

We have the chronicles of...

Bladefrenzy = an Australian bloke with too little time
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymN3-DjRimw

Bvmmey = rogue role play
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/326188748

Riptoes = disgruntled raid party member
(please add link here)

Sirken = honey potted GM
(please add link here)

A few other stream highlights I'm too lazy to search for...

BUT WHERE ARE THE RMT... "Haha, I gotcha moments!"

Quite frankly, I feel let down by this community and it's complete lack of fraps/OBS when it comes to ban hammering those who decide to give in to the dark side.

If you have links/proof... rest assured, I will read/view all of it.

You'd have to be pretty fucking stupid to get busted for RMTing something in-game, hence no "gotcha" streams.

Pretty much this.

Read from an ex-gm on Reddit awhile back that basically they just make an account on those sites, see if people are selling shit, then go look for it, find the trade, ban the people.

According to them some of these idiots used the same forum name on the RMT site as they did for their EQ account.

Yup. Here is a typical entry from one of those sites:

Trading account with Level 44 Rogue with Epic and JBoots for project 1999 blue Platinum. Account has been inactive for around 6 months no friends or anyone that knows the character and there is no verification number set so you can claim ownership of the account. Please post offers.
I wonder how hard it is for server staff to find a 44 Rogue with epic and JBoots that has been inactive for 6 months? Hypothetical question of course, it's supremely easy.

Oh yeah definitely. I'm guessing there are people who don't put easy details like that in their posts though and those they have to probably try and monitor for other suspicious changes on the account

They don't broadcast who gets popped for what, as a policy. They also don't divulge their methods. That would make evasion easier for those with a shaky moral compass.

The DLL you downloaded to play on p99 just shares all of your computer's activity with staff. It comes complete with keylogging and pornsharing suite and you will be judged on these items.

Well I for one have no qualms about my porn viewing history. It is perfect.
