How does Track work ?
Hey, I'm thinking about making a ranger or druid for tracking skill.
How does it this skill works ? You just click it and it shows all named within a certain range ?

Yea, classically the window would be limited to showing the top 20 items, but we have a scroll bar.
The higher you skill the greater the range for tracking. As a ranger you can sort by how recently the mobs spawned (normal; i.e. the most recently spawned mob is at the top of the list), their level (ascending or descending) or distance (again ascending or descending). Tracking players doesn't seem to works so well. To start tracking you select what you want to track from the window and click track. You will then get text based instructions for the tracked character's direction relative to your facing.

tracking works differently depending on which UI you use.

I saw some comment by a dev where tracking players was unintentionally broken by some anti cheat code that prevented players who used third party programs to see where everyone was.
If I'm wrong, please correct me.

the tracking window interface is different between UIs, but the mechanism for tracking (what tells you where to go to find a tracking target) doesn't change
