Still trying to get this working once more. I was formally on the Teal Server which is no more it seems. Would that character be sent elsewhere or would it have been deleted.

Try Green server. It won't be on Blue. If not on Green not sure what to tell you other than it may have been deleted if you were only level 1.

In which case you can always roll a new character.

Thank you, If I remember correctly it was in the 30's. I cannot get past the login as it says I am missing some files - so much for the 10 minute tutorials on YouTube =)

These are probably the files you seek. They are from the P1999 front page. Open the zip and copy paste files into your p1999 directory. GL.

Teal server re-merged to green, so you're there.

Thank you all. I'm in and I my character is gone. No worries - starting over has been great. Now my challenge is to find my body at the Inn outside the tunnel and to travel naked, at level 3 to my corpse from Rivervale.

No other game scares the crap out of me like a corpse run in EQ. Old EQ.
