I've soloed with a cleric many times at various levels. It sucked for me to be quite frank about it. And it will especially suck on green since you can't twink your cleric with awesome wis and + mana gear. I had decent gear and could only kill 2 blue mobs per mana bar lvls 20-40 and one mob per mana bar lvls 40-60. Now that's regular mobs using the regular nukes. Undead would be about double those numbers due to better efficiency and less resisting.

The XP bar just moves too slow. Grouping in a decent area with a decent pull rate easily got me two times or more XP per hour then I could get soloing. But I will say it is nice to have the option to kill that mob or two per mana bar when a group spot isn't being offered.

With the addition of the teal server I don't think finding main healer spots will be too hard. And when I can't get a group I'll look for some undead mobs I can solo.

Roll a Cleric if your goal is to be an end-game healer, but don't roll one thinking that you'll be able to solo undead camps because those are always popular farming spots. You should also take into consideration that healers make up 35% of the population on Green. While Clerics are by far the best end-game healer, Druids and Shamans are roughly on par with Clerics until Complete Heal enters the equation, and it doesn't enter the equation until long after you have access to it because it will be a while before the average tank has enough hit points to make it worth using. Until then, you'll just be a bit more mana efficient than the other healers.
