DoT stacking is still an issue on p99 right? I don't really raid much but when I do there's usually a 60 necro that casts splurt/ pyro so no point in trying to dps. Plus always a shit-ton of monks to pull so I usually vex/bond heal and twitch. /shrug

IMO raiding p99 is boring as f&@$. Necro no different.

A necro's role in raids is to have pet out and use skelly form DoT then get yelled at in shout, guild, and voice to not do either of these things and be a battery.

But yes everything people have said in this thread.

Does reclaim energy help if you have a summoned pet to use as a battery during down time?

I also heard lifetapping Eye of Zomm to get HP back is a pro move. Holgresh beads for the rich and famous, stalking probes for poor folk like us.

Necromancer is my favorite class but they are probably the worst and most useless raiding class on P99. It shouldn't be surprising that the solo specialist class is terribly boring to raid on (and it is). Load twitch and 90%-95% of your job is complete

Holgresh Elder Beads are priceless in this regard. Having unlimited non-aggro mobs to tap is key. No need to manage hitpoints versus lich.

You can not summon the eye with any sort of pet up so it really makes this items borderline useless unless you are consigned to the fact that you are nothing but a mana battery.

I have always found shaman/druid regen to be sufficient

Except you aren't supposed to have a pet out in most raids. For me at least I used beads and VP staff every raid in ToV to counter lich after I dump all my mama into the clerics.

And this is a perfect example of what a necro does high end raiding. GG
