March 14th, 2001 was the release date of the Warrens:

Rough timeline of Velious with major events and PVP releated things. Bored at work but it was fun to go through the old notes.
Week 1: Velious is released. Week 2: - Week 3: - Week 4: - Week 5: - Week 6: SK unholy dmg bonus increased from 25% to 50% + resist changed to DR from MR + gets -200 resist mod (life lifetaps), many other hybrid disciplines have their duration increased by a substantial amount. LoH gets upgraded, hybrids get a lot of new spells (summon corpse for SKs, strength of earth for rangers, resist disease for pal, etc). Week 6 part 2: Root/Snare changes - root no longer overwrites SoW/Jboots OR snare, they stack and when root wears off you're snared. Week 7: LoH upgraded again. Trueshot dmg upgraded. Paw/Mistmoore/TheHole made easier. Week 8: - Week 9: Siren's Grotto made easier. Week 10: New priest heals added (chloroblast, nature's touch, etc). Some healing spells moved to lower levels and made easier to cast (superior healing on dru/shm for example). Hybrids get a lot of new spells and several moved to lower levels. Bards get defensive skill upgrades and a couple new songs. Wurmslayer can be bagged. Donals BP can only be used on a target every 7.5 minutes. Hybrid casting times for non beneficial spells decreased by 3% per level above 50 to a max of 30% increased casting speed at lvl 60. Week 11: - Week 12: Gems added (lol) Week 13: The Warrens added, along with trivial loot code. Fear/Hate revamps implemented. Week 14: - Week 15: - Week 16: - Week 17: - Week 18: Willsapper slow % reduced. Gem requirement removed from cultural smithing. Monk weight allowance increased (think this is already in place here though). VS spawns faster. Week 19: - Week 20: - Week 21: - Week 22: Quivers reduce delay of bows. Wizard translocate: zone spells added. Week 23: - Week 24: - Week 25: Runnyeye revamped. PVP resist debuffs increase to 1.5 times the PVE amount. Week 26: - Week 27: - Week 28: - Week 29: Duck now interrupts casting (why the f does this work on blue btw? shit didn't get added until 6+ months into velious). New source for green dragon scales (I assume referring to Hoshkar getting them?). Week 30: - Week 31: antonian javs made stackable. Week 32: - Week 33: - Week 34: - Week 35: - Week 36: - Week 37: Stonebrunt Mountains added. Week 38: - Week 39: emissary of thule made immune to fear. Week 40: - Week 41: - Week 42: - Week 43: Melee dmg patch - 2h dmg bonus increased, many existing 2hers improved. Monk dmg tables improved at 55 and again at 60, monks get triple attack at 60. Ranger defense, rogue offense and warrior taunt skills increased. Warrior epic 1hers can be used in either hand. Pal/SK moved to same combat tables as warrior and their taunt skill increased. Bard offensive and weapon skills improved, parry improved and epic made offhandable. Week 44: - Week 45: - Week 46: - Week 47: Project M introduced (lol). Kael bind locations restricted. Trivial loot code removed from Stonebrunt/Warrens. Melees can now bind at the dock in Iceclad. Week 48: - Week 49: - Week 50: - Week 51: - Week 52: Luclin released, classic era ends. | ||

Basic TLDR timeline:
Hybrid buff, hybrid buff, hybrid buff, hybrid buff, hybrid buff....few months of not much..fear/hate/warrens added/revamped...few months of nothing, then big melee dmg upgrade. | ||
