Rather be underpopulated than massively overpopulated to the point where you can't do anything meaningful when you log in since everything worth a damn is perma camped. In regards to population Blue is even less classic than Red. Severs were never that full on live.

I honestly don't think so. I've got a very near bis character on red from a few back, and a bunch of alts better geared than the majority of mains on blue. I don't see the point in re-questing on a congested server with no conflict resolution outside of a strongly worded and mildly threatening tell. Trying to stockpile manastones against the worst blue has to offer was tempting though.
