To be fair it doesn't sound all that different to how they zerged Germany 80 years ago with conscripts.

True, but it was much easier to train the average soldier back then.

And they had a MUCH larger population to pull from.

AND determination. They were invaded and even though conscripts were forced into combat at gunpoint in Stalingrad as a whole the USSR was determined to punish Germany severely.

Fighting in Ukraine not so much lol.

The island had never been an independent and unified polity until 1917

If part of Ukraine should be Russian, all of Ireland should revert to the UK
