Honey is 80%+ sugar, therefore carb.
Simple sugar too, highish glycemic index (perfect for getting a fat ass). Whoever said our ancestors were getting plenty of carbs running around gathering honey and berries obviously never got out of a city (probably mom's basement too). Go to the nearest forest and see how much honey / berries you end up with at the end of the day. Then try doing the same during the winter. I don't know anything about wild raspberries but if it is anything like wild blackberries, it fruits for a month, maybe one and a half on a good year, at least in Europe.

Two months is just long enough to put on 20lb of fat if you really work hard at it. It takes less than two months of sedentary starvation to lose all of that again. Staying in one spot long during bear season without some decent weapons tech and teamwork is a great way to "become fat" (on something else).
I am sticking to flat bread, hummus, and goat cheese. God bless.

Just be careful. If you stare into kettle too long the water will evaporate and all that.
