Cabbage from Swamp Hell

I'm having a Hell of a time finding any Man Eating Creepers for my skullcap quest. FYI for those that don't know wtf I'm talking about, the Iksar necro class quest for a hat requires Creeper Cabbage to drop from the aforementioned mob in VERY aptly named Swamp of No Hope.

I've spent 6+ hours trudging through the mire of this terrible zone, killing various killer plant mobs and have yet to see a single Creeper. Any tips on spawning these little bastards?

I sat at the spot it states in the wiki at loc pos 1790, pos 1250. Sure enough the Man eating Creeper pathed through there. You won't always get a creeper, sometimes just a plant but I found that to be the best spot.

Be very careful though, always stayed max buffed, even with our Rune type spell as ALOT
of named and high level mobs path close by... Always keep FD up too.

The creeper doesn't always have the cabbage but I managed to get one eventually.

I was at the island with the haunted ruins at roughly (1000,600), when a man eating creeper just happened to path by for me. I killed it as a 17 necromancer. I barely lived because then some named skeleton named Two Tails pathed by and wrecked me, but luckily I feigned in time. It had the cabbage, luckily
