Essentially. Although "costs" can be pernicious, unexpected, overlooked, or disallowed from full application towards the expense statement, requiring partial application or written off over time. Things that escape the feeble "I turn 1$ of stuff into 5$ mindset". And sometimes you just have to eat the costs. Like when your dipshit employees drop a $30,000.00 la marzocco espresso machine when lifting it into your customer's truck.

I remember my first job as a baker.
I would come in, focus an dedicate my craft to making the most exquisite cakes, cupcakes, macarons, ice cream and so forth.

I would take 100$ worth of products and turn it into a few grand worth of baked goods.
I mean, they sold six macarons for 15$, I would make 500-800 a day.

And then, I would realize that I had been paid 90$ for that (eh, I was much younger and minimum wage was different) and I realized then that the real moochers aren't who you think it is.

That the American description of socialism where you work hard and people who didn't work at all come and take your hard work's benefits applied mostly to capitalism and my boss.

I realized that I could make the company 3-4k a day, only for them to pay me 90$ a day.

And I started being a leftist ever since.

I make the economy go round, you make the economy go round and anyone just investing money in the stock market to get richer is a sycophant of our hard work.

I mean be my guest, hate me but this is logical.
The real moochers are the rich.

And the worst are the landlords who think it's a job.
Owning a house you wait rent for to pay mortgage with is not a fucking job.
Your tenant are doing you a solid.
There are so many expenses beyond your payroll. There are cost of goods, overhead, insurance, taxes, loss of goods, finance costs, just to name a few.

Not to mention the headaches that come with running a business. For you, you got $90 a day whether a muffin was sold or not. The owner took all the risk and so therefore will take all the reward.

And if you say, "the reward is not commensurate with the output of work that the owner has performed" My answer would be, why don't you do it yourself? The truth is you wont do it yourself, probably because it is harder than you are willing to admit.

I am actually surprised at how simple minded this comment was from you, because even though you are typically an asshole, you don't come off as low-IQ.

I like how when I explained HOW TO (legitimately) start up a business from home, suggesting the kind of expenses Gravydoo would not want to overlook when record keeping expenses against his sales he just got butthurt, because he's trying to evade taxes entirely, with his side hustle.

Super ironic considering he's a leftist.

You voted for Donald Trump. No one with a brain is going to take your advice seriously. Disqualifying event.

Anyhow, on a personal note, I think everyone should have a side hustle they evade taxes on. Just saying, it's super ironic for a pro big-government socialist to be running a side hustle off the books. It reveals how their actual actions are incongruent with what they profess to believe in, so strongly that they feel it prudent to foist the yoke of a burden they won't even take upon themselves upon others without consent to make themselves feel better about that dissonance.

Kind of like how Gravydoo and Horza aren't vaccinated yet they've populated 20 or 30 pages on these forums promulgating others HAVE to. (And it's free)

But what do I know. I fuck pigs, and worship "God's faggot son."

It's how leftists operate, "do as I say, not as I do"

I think if you buy a house and you rent out a room to help meet the first few years of the mortgage till you get past the PMI threshold, you shouldn't have to report that as income on your taxes, however that is illegal, even though leftists in these big cities who do this rarely if ever do that themselves. In San Jose, i've personally seen several dozen people renting out the shed they built in their backyard and I'd bet dollars to donuts they aren't reporting that on their taxes despite being 80% democrat voters skirting housing code in the process.
