Sounds like the cleansing of yuckies in the body is the main benefit, which of course is wonderful, and something i should put more effort into doing. Unfortunately my only access to a sauna is at the L.A fitness which makes the sauna environment about the least pleasing place i want to be in at that joint...

This was taken at a mountain along the Oregonian coast on Saturday. I'm training my mom for an upcoming trip she's doing. I find hiking pretty boring now but I like teaching other's the walking technology you only gain from many miles of traumatic slopes and icy floes.

6 months after my last surgery [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Still a ways from goal body but feeling good!

lol dude that's my gym too. I just deal with it and go in fully nude and sit on a towel. IF you're in Cali the LA fitnesses suck. this one in PDX is great, ironically.

Do you heelstrike?

I want to try mountain hiking with a light shoe and forefoot strike. It seems like it would be pleasant on steep ascents.

The best way to walk is on the ball of foot. My boots are build for heel-to-toe so I go with that. When walking around the city i walk on the balls of my feet as much as possible and as much as my footwear permits.
