Default FSI vs Regen / AC

Does either really matter for a warrior? which would i feel most benefit from?

This discussion usually boils down to the mysterious question of how AC actually works on p99...followed closely by the "play what you like" advise.

In raiding, frontal stun immunity doesn't matter because you'll be draining a mallet into the mob.

Grouping, I guess it depends on the situation? Frontal stun immunity might matter more for warriors than other tanks, as their aggro is based on procs in group.

Frontal stun immunity seems like not a big deal, until you've played with it for awhile and switch chars, then being stunned all the time in melee is the most annoying thing in the world.

The best group warrior I ever grouped with was an Iksar warrior. Stunned or not, it made no difference he held aggro like a magnet.

That being said I have grouped with ogre warriors that held aggro like magnets too.

I honestly believe when it comes to warriors no racials grant substantial advantages that matter in the end.

The most important factor to consider when choosing a race is what brings the most fun for you in the game.

If not being stunned really means a lot to you, and brings you the most enjoyment to your warrior, then go ogre. If having regen and a armor class bonus makes you happiest, then go Iksar. If being an ultra small tinkering gnome as a warrior makes you happiest then go with gnome. If playing a female dwarf warrior with a beard brings you ultimate satisfaction then by all means roll a female dwarf warrior.

The problem with questions like this is there truly is no correct answer as they are always subjective depending on who you ask.

None of the racials grant such an advantage they are necessary to succeed as a warrior.

It all boils down to what the individual playing the warrior enjoys the most, and if they go with that race they will enjoy their warrior far longer than they would picking a race because someone told them it had a specific racial advantage over the rest.

Ogres have hidden code, even ass naked they'll tank better than most shit their same level regardless of their stats.

Hes not even lying ive seen ogre warriors vs iksar warriors with very very similar gear and the ogre warrior tanks better every time, in terms of HP and low low his Hp gets and what not.

I think FSI has something to do with it.

Word is the two best warriors on p99 are half elves. Can anyone confirm? If true all these anecdotal stories about ogre superiority need to be laid to rest.

you could play a gnome warrior with missing gear slots and probably tank some NToV dragons with minimal struggle. just play what you think looks cool

Warrior class has a lot of good races to pick for different reasons. The following would be my top picks.

Ogre: FSI, very high innate stamina/str, slam bash -- levels slower, low dex, needs shrink
Troll: regen + good stats, slam bash -- levels slowest, needs shrink
Halfling: sneak (very valuable), hide, good dex, levels fastest, no shrink -- low str/stam, no slam
Dwarf: pretty good str/stam, high starting dex (20 over ogre), looks cool, no slam, small race
Iksar: AC bonus, regen, no slam, good dex, low str/stam

I would have a hard time picking. Long term min/max raiding iksar vs ogre. Regen is very useful leveling or with not a cleric healing you. Sneak really is very amazingly useful to have.
