Default Bard Mystic vs Imbued Koada`Dal

Hello there. Is there any reason to get the imbued version of this armor? It seems to look cooler, but all I can see that's different is the WIS which doesn't seem that great for a bard. Is there any other culture armor that would be stronger than the Koada`Dal set?

dex/cha is not important as you think
dex helps fizzle chance, but how many casters you see jacking off a shaman for a dex buff?
cha helps mostly with crit lull resists and somewhat charming
look i type this dex/cha thing a lot because so many people think they are important because they are highlighted in the character creation screen and its hard to combat people who believe old wives tales and I know what I am typing wont get to you at all and you will do what you want so just.. i cant anymore. go dex/cha or whatever

what would you recommend for armoring a Bard then? Cha seems nice for no crit fails on lull.

This.

Instruments > resists >= hp > lotsofstuff > weapons/haste (your melee sucks)

Go with what looks cool.
Find good instruments.
Fine tune your gameplay.
Profit.

As a bard you should wear needlessly expensive equipment to remind the hoi polli that you are a Gucci rockstar that can sell PL whereas they have to work the grindstone for a living.
