the lack of your ability to accept responsibility for your actions just proved my point this isn't about any of those other posters that you quoted this is about you specifically so stop trying to hide behind other people and grow a pair and accept your adult responsibilities.
A line was crossed here a huge line.
Do not attack other people's children.

I haven't said anything mean about Sidelle's son in this thread, though I have thrown around the word "autist" in the past.
You on the other hand.....

1218 people with autism reliving a 20 year old video game experience right now.

Make fun of people with autism routinely, here and now.

Oh FUCK OFF, Lune, you giant bloody cunt. I'm telling you that when a perfectly normal 2 year old suddenly LOSES major abilities, literally REGRESSING backward into infancy again, right after being given a shitload of vaccines, anyone with a brain would have questions about the possibility of a link.
|
Do you know how complicated the brain is? Do you think it's beyond the realm of possibility that the developmental progression of the cortex in someone with autism could present with the regression of some functions that were previously higher? How does autism affect the developing brain, exactly, Sidelle? Do you know? Is it a steady linear decline in cognitive faculties at a certain point in cortical maturation? Or is it a dynamic interplay with many different moving parts that could present as early ebbs and flows in cognition? Are you qualified to specifically single out vaccines as a causative agent in your son's case when you (or anyone else) don't fully understand 1. the causes of autism or 2. the developing brain?
It's all well and good to examine the possibility of a link between autism and vaccines. What isn't okay is refusing to vaccinate when the scientific and medical communities have found no link, and spreading unjustified doubt and misinformation. I have a strong hunch that a precipitous increase in immune system disorders in developed nations is associated with overly sterile households, but I don't go around telling people not to wash their hands because I'm not qualified and I don't have evidence.

My son's case isn't some isolated occurrence. Autism used to be rare, but now everyone seems to know someone that has it. Why is that?

List of other things that have coincided with an increasing incidence of autism:
1. Increasing levels of lead
2. Pesticides
3. Herbicides
4.
Air pollution & water pollution with neurotoxic, carcinogenic hydrocarbons associated with the combustion of coal (which you support, through your support of Trump). You lived in Pennsylvania coal country, did you not?
5. Dissemination of asymptomatic or partially symptomatic viral infections such as Epstein-Barr which can have neural or immune effects
6. Destruction of native gut flora associated with overprescription of antibiotics
7. Destruction of native gut flora associated with excessive hygiene and use of antimicrobials, environmental contamination with antimicrobials
I could go on about things that are equally plausible.
