Gamma

I'm an Erudite but in game is very dark regardless of which enchanter illusion I'm using. When I adjust the gamma slider the game brightens briefly then a second later reverts to the previous brightness even though the gamma slider has been changed. This is very frustrating -- any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you installed the latest version of your graphics card driver?

Try forcing the gamma in your gpu settings.
