Partial success -- I've created another login server account and now I finally see that I have expansions listed. (Though I still get a message that states My Account Has Expansions that I have not Downloaded, I just decline the option to DL them), but I still don't see any servers on the server select screen.

What expansion is it trying to get you to download? And where is this prompt?

Cilraaz, here is the sequence, and what I see....
1) I Click the Launch Titanium link. 2) EULA screen appears. (Click accept.) 3) SOE logo screen appears. 4) ESRB screen appears. 5)LOGIN screen appears. It is blank, but for six buttons: a) LOGIN b) ACCOUNT c) EQ LIVE WEBPAGE d) HELP e) OPTIONS f) EXIT (...I click LOGIN.) 6) Screen appears asking for Station Username and Station Password (I enter the info and click LOGIN) 7) A embedded window appears stating "Your account has expansions that you have not downloaded to this computer. Would you like to run the update patcher so that you will download these files next time you patch? {more text follows....} (I choose NO) 8) Server Select screen appears. No servers are listed, and the scrolling bar of text states that I own 4 of 11 expansions. {Oddly, it lists OoW owned but no others, and lists as missing such expansions as Kunark, Velious, and others.} At this point I have no option but to logout. | ||

What is the "Launch Titanium link" from step 1? Is it the desktop icon created by the install of Titanium or the batch file included in the P99 files?

It is located in the http://www.project1999.com/files/P99Files46.zip files that have to be copied into the installed Titanium files. I click at and send it to the desktop as a link.

Legidias, I have, yes. Same result. I'm particularly baffled by step 5 of https://www.project1999.com/account/?Play which shows Game Setup as Not Completed Yet.

MCoy, I didn't want to do you suggested (copying files from older PC) as it meant a ton of work to find and get files from a very old PC that hasn't been run in years but I really had no other choice so I did it and, at last it works!
We will never know why I couldn't get it to launch otherwise, but I wish to thank all of you for your help. Though I never got it to work it doesn't mean that I'm not grateful to all of you. See you in game! *** Topic Closed *** | ||
