Or just run to your destination, then med all at once? Maybe take a shit while you med like a normal person instead of hopping up and down like a spaz?
It depends on how low my mana is and as an enchanter charm soloing I have to pay attention to a few variables at once

For example, let’s say I’m at 30% mana, sitting in an open outdoor zone, and a mob I want to kill for a quest item is walking by. “Oh shit, I need to kill this guy!” But as an enchanter, that means now I need to charm something to kill it with. But by the time I find something, the mob will be gone, so first I need to root it

So I root it. Now I need to run to go find something to charm. But keep in mind I was only at 30% mana and charm takes a bubble of mana on its own for a single cast. That’s assuming it doesn’t break. If it breaks twice in a row and I have to re-charm, now I’m oom. And an enchanter that is oom is fucked, basically a sitting duck

So as I’m running off to find something to charm, I sit every 5 seconds. Now when I finally find something, instead of being at 30% mana, I’m now at 50%. Now if the shit hits the fan and charm breaks 2x right away, I’m not dead (or having to gate)

These are scenarios when I personally med while running

But yes, if I am at 10% mana and nothing is going on, I’ll sit my ass down medding while invis and go get some water, alt-tab to youtube, etc until I’m at 100%

Its meta tactics, no question.

Just sucks but thats how the server tick mechanics work and thats how the game will be.

Hard to catch med ticks while running and forum quest at the same time.

I think you're right but once you get attuned to the real pulse you can do it consistently.

FYI, I don't do this.
