I was a devout tradeskiller back in the early days of EQ.
I do seem to remember Halfling cultural had some arrows that gave a much easier route to maxing Fletching, that any other race... But that may be post P99 content. | ||

I didn't notice it was multiple choice until I cast my vote, which was for Dwarves, but Humans and High Elves get some pretty good cultural stuff too. Dwarves are the greatest statwise I think (seriously!), but High Elves have some excellent options too. It's because of high elf cultural that I considered playing an enchanter following Tunare.
Humans on the other hand win out of sheer versatility. Lot of nice sets that make for great fashionquest and a ton of deities are covered. I like the thought of an Erollisi cleric wearing a full set of shiny pink plate. Below that, dark elves have some nice stuff. Casters in chain ftw? And then Erudites would get a higher spot if their material wasn't such a serious pain in the ass to farm. | ||

(outside warrior clickies) I thought it was out of timeline like troll cultural. And to put a nail in this,.. They get Tinkering... So if someone asked what's your favorite tinkering race, the only choice is gnome. Which isn't the idea of this thread, to compare things.
