Default OG Mith Marr player - n00b to p1999

Well I found this from some random post on SOE in an EQOA nostalgia thread.

I was in on the 1999 EQ and played right up until the early days of Luclin, anyone from Mith Marr on this?

So everyone says "join red" because of raid mobs being over-camped on PVE. I have zero PVP EQ experience outside of duels, and I remember those duels taking forever to complete. I was a Shadowknight dueling a Paladin and the fight lasted like 25 minutes, it was redonk.

Anyhoot, this is what I played back on EQ in the day

Level 57-63 Erudite Shadowknight (you can't tank!)
2nd fav was my Chanter
Troll Warrior
Mage
Rogue

Etc...

I moved to EQOA (and fell in love/hate, then deep deep love later stages) on that game, dual boxing was almost mandatory. So I'm just curious as to why multi-boxing on this is not allowed? Is it because of redonkulous things like people 6-boxing raids?

So with almost no PVP, should I just start on Red because I'm used to raiding and want to raid? I was a huge fan of Plane of Fear/Hate back in the day, PoF was my favorite zone

Is it pointless to start out as a Shadowknight again? Everyone is Shaman/Chanter? Does this version even need fake-tanks like SKs? I remember I quit OG EQ when the Plane of Growth launched and early raids were taking forever and gear was garbage and my Epic Quest was like 15% at best.

Hey maybe my toon was too weak to MT a dragon but man I could feign death pull like a boss for grinding groups!
