Default Cleric here about training?

Should I just dump all my my training points in Specialize Alteration?

I have 100 saved up and just hit 30. My bro says it makes spell MP cost more efficient.

Training points don't really matter, you can use them on whatever you want to save time, but everything they can give you can get on your own. You could dump them all into specialize alteration to make sure its the one you specialize in, but if you just cast alteration spells the most it will happen naturally anyway without you spending a point.

As soon as you unlock specialization just spam the lvl 1 heal on yourself until it's above 50 this will ensure your locked to alteration spec

Ever so often some of the caster classes will want to set aside an hour or two to just spam low lvl spells to get their casting skills maxed as some casters seldom use certain casting types

What Fox said about spamming spells. Also yes I think it gives you about 10% more mana efficiency.

I would spent points on skills that are usefull but not often used so that they may lag behind. As cleric maybe abjuration? Or if you melee at all, the melee skill. Or maybe defense, quiet usefull.

I always thought offense and defense aren't trainable?
