Are you referring to not being able to acquire said camp, or did you just have rotten luck on it dropping?

The camp takes a ridiculously long time. First it's a 22 minute spawn, there is a one in 4 chance that the mob will spawn. THEN there is a 1 in 5 chance that money will drop the cloak. This is like casino odds. I now understand why people had issues with the cloak on live and probably why the Othmir fur cloak was made.

Rotten luck for sure. 2 12 hour sessions of no cloak. Like wtf am I doing with my life lol first post is just me looking at my future self

Damn, I didn't know it was that rough of a camp, although the market price should have pointed me in the general direction at least. If ever I should desire a cloak, I think I will seek funds elsewhere to purchase it, or just seek help, because that would be pretty rough on my already-frayed mental state, heh! My bard needed the wisdom for crafting. There are few items that raise bard's wisdom and intelligence and wisdom is much much easier to max out on a bard.
