Troll shamans killing me (ogre sham)

Is there a reason why the troll shaman guild would be pwning me? I'm only lvl 6, and just been killing frogloks...was heading to the bank and got killed...3 times.

Unfortunately classic, ogre shm starts out KOS at troll shm guild. Remember this awfully well from live. =<

Well that blows...any tips on raising faction at this low of a level?

shoulda gone with like a cleric brah, or druid. then you can be friendly with everybody starting out and chill with all the cool people in greater faydark

I'm not expecting to be friendly with elves...just thought trolls and ogres tolerated each other a bit better :/

awwww man i was hoping you would do it lol. i just started again and made a high elf mage, hes lvl 3 now :P

I think the ogres/trolls have some weird faction clashes, to particular classes against each other... I think it has something to do with the Dark Elves involvement in norrath politics or something lore wise...

according to ZAM the troll shaman faction is called the Dark Ones, allied with the Shadow Knight guild, but no real way to raise the faction it would seem...
