I played here before OOC. This didn't happen, and we had 3x the pop then and only classic zones. Thanks.

Seems unlikely; plenty of trading happened on the classic PVP servers. Maybe no one invited you?

1) What classic PvP servers(s)? This is the only PvP server that has been launched on Project 1999.

2) All trading happened using the forums and was done at mutually agreed locations. There has never been a trading hub on this server. Many people have banking alts in NFP but it has never been a location where people simply gather to auction off wares.

Those aren't classic servers, those would be the original servers. Population on pvp servers was a lot higher on live during classic era than it is on an emulated classic server.

You're arguing that the live servers during the classic era weren't classic? You're welcome to use your own self-defined phrases, but it seems dishonest to try and hold me to them. It's obvious what I meant.

Also, unless you can actually quote me some concurrent player numbers from a PVP server during the era, I'm not inclined to accept the second assertion. Even if I were, low population numbers aren't a good reason not to implement changes aimed at improving population numbers?

So you're rebutting my observations of this server from the actual 1999 EQ PvP servers that had literally 30-50 times the population with a completely different player base? It also wasn't obvious what you meant because several long time players here didn't follow your terminology. You seem obtuse.

IIRC, EQ press release claimed a peak of ~95k concurrent players during Velious across, what? 47 servers? That's an average of ~2k per server. 2k is roughly the same as peaks on blue (certainly not 30-50x). Moreover, there was similarly a population skew between PVE/PVP servers on Live (thus the Zek merge). Unless you can provide some supplemental information, your assertion seems misguided.
