A recession used to mean when your neighbor looses his job but you dont.

But now it means when everyone quits their job and nobody who didnt is wondering why they are even working and everything seems like there is no future anymore and our best hope is that somehow this turns around and we figure out a reason for these countries to even exist because all we've had for 8 thousand years of them is the same global ending threat of total annihilation the entire time.
