For as old and limited as this game is/was there's infinitely more interacting / freedom than a lot of modern games out there... Charming a monster, handing it an item( with no level restrictions mind you ), breaking charm, and someone else killing it and looting that item...it's a thing of beauty.

Yep, good times. Although, for a truly classic experience, you shouldn't need to charm the mob in order for it to dish it out later. You should just be able to give the mob items straight up (no charm required). Also, contrary to the /ooc text mentioning "this is how you could trade NO DROP items in classic", I know first hand that this is not true, as I recall instructing a friend to try it in classic (so he could trade his NO DROP item to someone) and sure enough it failed miserably. Mobs wouldn't ever dish out NO DROP items that were given to them by players.

Yes, I think this is a very unique server. Thinking about it make me feel like a kid, afraid to get my playstation taken away from me >.<
