Don't let anyone tell you that you are not a very talented artist, if you asked someone who works at blizzard or disney to come up with something super simple and yet still appealing they would probably struggle and fail.

Thanks Jibartik. It actually took numerous years of hobby practice in Blender to be able to make those models quickly. I can now produce in 3 hours what it took two weeks when I just started. Additionally, those models aren't even textured or animated yet, just using fill colors.

You can see the Daedite (skinny half undead dude who appears to be "starving") is wearing a shawl on his face and sort of a shawl skirt wrap. Those two items would be given to every new daedite player. So it's fun coming up with clothing for all these different races. And time consuming.

It's also hard to come up with a good lineup of fantasy races. These are alpha mock-ups and those that don't become a playable race become an NPC race or a monster.

The Daedites are an offshoot of humans who came to occupy the "dead wastes". The dark magic evolved them into their current form. They became dependent on some aspect of the dark magic which is why their nose and mouth look undead. They're racial abilities are related to necromancy and they're geared toward magic. I mean. The Lore is still being written.
