I just tested this with the following on Blue: - Default UI - Duxa UI - Velious99UI They all behave the exact same way. If you press the button while casting a spell, you will sit and open your spellbook and interrupt the casting? That is just how it works across all of the different UIs.

It does not interrupt me on green using default ui.
to clarify: you need to stand to finish the spell, but during the cast time one could get full med mana ticks while sitting this would be most important for clerics on raids, etc. it would be the meta to sit during every cast if this stays possible

Ahhhh. I think I see what you are getting at. Good catch. I was not 100% understanding at first. I am not sure this is a UI issue to be honest, I will chat with Rogean.

Rogean specifically mentioned that it would be enabled on Green.

and now it is, and the only way to do it is to click that little red book under the spell gems. shortcut key doesnt work, binding to skillbar doesnt work seems weird if intentional. i'm reading what you linked clearly, just saying this is an odd way to implement it.

It's kind of the same thing as pet commands. You can't use pet command hotkeys while casting, but you can still use them from the action window.

Doesn’t this go right along with not being able to duck spells? Would sit/stand be the same as ducking otherwise?
