Why not get them from the flea market or dumpsters or reuse old ones the church hands out? The (new) lids (important part) are cheap af.

U can pretty much boil the jars clean and seok in lye or bleach.

Like literally the jar lids are like so cheap if you can't afford those you are dying. Go to the hospital and tell them you can't live anymore because you aren't able to.

I'm pretty sure that the Ukrainians have been making do just fine re-using lids for at least 60 (yes even before the war) years too. (I don't know how so don't recommend u reuse lids) So some of them are running youtu.be channels to fund the war. Assuming u or ur loved one have a cellphone if u can bitch about it and post online.
