Halloween Boss Encounter List

Those of you that were present at the NK Fight are aware that the zone crashed right when the boss died. This is because a player had charmed one of the event adds, and that add, out of all odds, happened to get the last hit on the boss. When the boss dies his death script despawns the adds. When the script finished and returned back to code, which continues processing corpse creation and other deathly things, it tried to reference the killer again (which was despawned by the death script), and paradoxical universe-ending things commenced.

Unfortunately, this means the encounter list was never logged to the database. Instead, we pulled the NK list from one of the other adds that were killed, and it should still contain everyone that was there (The mobs shared hate lists with the boss).

We will probably livestream a random choosing of the reward winners. Still deciding on some details regarding rewards and quantities. We will make a post here and/or broadcast ingame when we have more information.

I had enough aggro to get summoned and killed by the boss but still didn't end up on the NK list [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Seems most of our clerics didn't either.

Was a fun time nevertheless!

not sure how this was determined. as a necro i had fought it for a good 45 min and was there for its death, guess it didnt take pets into account when pets was the only reason we were able to down it once the zone went haywire

unfortunately im not on the encounter list for some reason however :/

if any suggestion for future events not to make the boss 100% mr? or i guess next time ill have to melee necro

Many Lags problems due to high population at zone. Have also 2 or 3 / who show around 180-220 people in the zone, and aswell the fraps of the 5-6 hours of the event record.

I was there as well popping some massive greater healing on Diamondfist. I never did any damage to the mobs though.
