Trouble logging into character in EC

Anytime you get stuck, just eequest to be moved to the zone you were previously in that worked...... If you/petition from an alt and let them know whats going on, usually the response is quick and u can get back to playing as per normal..... Think the longest i waited was 3 days.

This might help with single character issues

How about your firewall? P99 needs port forwards. Maybe sign up for a TunnelBear VPN trial and see if that fixes it?

Actually I am at my inlaws spending the weekend, on their WiFi. I had no issue Friday night but I wasn’t in ec at any point. Gated back to my bind in ec, Saturday night and it’s been broken ever since.

So I'm still having issues with EC on my main, and no other character (seriously WTF? Why just one chracter?) but I have been mostly just avoiding the zone. Oh well I'll just use alts to sell stuff. Annoying but manageable. Just tried zoning into Warslik's Woods with my main and it is doing the same thing? Again, an alt can get into that zone just fine. Still haven't been able to log in my main after lots of attempts of trying to log in with my alt and then switch to my main. Why in the hell should I have issues on ONE charater and not any others with certain zones?

TrueJohn, your issue sounds like you have made a very small chat box, and since it happens in EC, more than likely you filtered auctions to that small chat box?

I am having the same problem (although I did a fresh install and having a different problem now with my spell files out of date and cannot see my characters on select screen). Ashintar, do you know a work around with the chat box? I did have a large auction window that I made small when out kiting with my druid. I zoned into EC with the box small. Any work around (at least when I get this spell file issue fixed)

usually spell files being out of date is a result of not downloading the patch and applying it.... ensure you're using the most up to date files and get rid of the files noted on the "Getting Started" page.

Yep, doing the zipped files now. Will have an update when that is updated and I try to log into game.

Ok the fresh install fixed my windowed problem within EC and the install of the patch fixed my spell files out of date problem. Thank you for all the info and hope this helps someone else that is having the same problem.
