2 negative options, one positive option = absolute garbage poll and cannot be used for anything except on how not to create a poll.

I'm going to go ahead and file this under 'nah' like it looks most others have done. Staff requiring regular players to use Discord or log into an external website to camp a mob is terribly un-classic and just dumb. A lot of people don't use and/or won't use Discord, so they aren't allowed to camp it? Forcing that requirement onto your average player is a terrible idea and shows you're really only doing this for yourself because that's what works for you. Any agreement should be simple and require the least amount of work outside of actually camping and rolling for the mob as possible, and what we have now is a lot closer to that than what is being proposed in this thread. Telling someone they can't camp Angry because they don't have or use Discord, again, is just dumb and your rules just complicate the entire process.
If you're in a raid guild then you can most likely already get the timer. If you're not then it isn't really hard to get if you're not completely socially inept. Poopsocking a spawn is P99 at it's core and it's fair based on the original game design that some items take extraordinary effort to obtain. It already requires minimal effort to participate. You literally just have to be there and be able to /rand. The existing rules level the playing field and works for all parties without needing excessive oversight or rules. It sounds like your real beef is just with the variance. You might have more luck mounting a campaign to keep the rules the same and remove the variance. But expect to /rand against a LOT more people if they remove the variance.

Those of you that advocate for changing code within this game (variance) for the benefit of the player base simply do not understand that the dev's are not going to do that. They only do that to benefit them and their staff. (Raid scene issues/less petitions)
So forget about it already.

For all these naysayers and "Needs Work" / "No, I don't like it" votes...I'm still waiting on any intelligent amendments to improve the proposal.
As far as requiring an "outside source" to update, it's already done on the Wiki for Ring 8. You're willing to sit through 7hrs and 15 mins variance every few days but object to spending 30 seconds to update the ToD in Discord? I find this impossible to believe.

the agreement as it is works just fine, convoluting the system and adding all sorts of extra rules is unnecessary. Should we roll for stormfeather and lodizal too? For cash camps? An alternate solution to your "i cant win this roll" problem is try to buy everyone out. The fact of the matter is you dont even NEED this ring to get your SWC, many guilds have a regal band they pass around for a nominal fee so everyone can skip that part entirely as long as they pass it along. Adding more rules to something that already works is DUMB.

Ill throw you a bone and provide a suggestion to one of the problems you have, but is also nearly as bad.
Instead of rolling at the opening of the window, which has a ton of problems that can lead to complications, roll at the end of the window. At the end of the window, Angry will be up and the turn in can be completed at that time and everyone can still stay and kill Skargus. This solves multiple issues with your suggestions, but creates its own list of problems that nearly everyone will hate.
