First of all this UI looks great. Is there a way to display buff timers?

no, there isnt. If you hold ALT while mousing over the buff window it will show the timers.

Hey Crushev, I have a question that maybe you can help me troubleshoot.

I have used your Installer once on my desktop and everything went perfectly. So today I decided to use it on my laptop. I installed and had an issue pop up, so I removed everything and started with a fresh install of Titanium. Went through the EQEmu steps and the Getting Started guide. Logged in to confirm that everything worked.. it did. Then I decided to use your installer to change the screens and use your UI. Well, now I get the same error message as before the reinstall. This is the message:

-----------------------------------------
Everquest: Windows - Application Error

The instruction at 0x10001c6b referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be read.

Click OK to terminate the program.
----------------------------------------

Any clue what I could look into to correct this? I am not very tech savy, but can follow instructions well enough. Let me know what [if any] info I could provide that might make this easier. If its too much trouble I can just start the whole process over again.

Thanks for all your work, I enjoyed the Installer and had not run into any problems in the past. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Does this error pop up every single time? or did it pop up once? If you only tried once try again, sometimes windows will throw that error with EQ, particularly Vista and 7 the first time you run it. But shouldnt happen again.

What kind of processor do you have? Is it a dual core or quad core?

With my installer you dont need to do anything from the get started guide.. you just use it to set it up on a fresh install of titanium. Perhaps doing stuff from getting started guide messed something up? I would just skip all that, and just use my installer.

Thanks for the quick response.

No, the error message pops up every time [tried it over 20, or long enough to see that it wasnt changing.] Processor is a Intel Core 2 Duo [don't think that makes it dual core, however?]

Just because I don't mind the delay for getting it running on the laptop, what are you suggesting? That I do not have to reinstall but can simply select option 1 on your Installer and then create a new directory for it?

Thanks again.

You can do one of the following:

1) Do a fresh install off the disc, and dont change anything at all. Simply run my installer, pick option 1 and point to the installation directory,

2) Try run option 1 on already installed copy of EQ

3) Try make a shortcut manually to it. I am not sure why this error is happening, havent seen it before, you can try bypass the CPU fix by creating a shortcut manually to eqgame.exe (just right click it and choose Send To -> Desktop (as shortcut)). Then right click on shortcut and go to properties and in target path add "patchme" without quotes at the end. See if that solves it for you.

Default core problem

I used your program (very nifty btw) and was wondering what exactly it changes to help the dual core systems? Since using it my other games like WoW aren't working properly, like 3 frames per second after taking 10 mins to load.. I figured it just turned one of the cores off or something of the sort so I rebooted and opened up the system setup tool but both cores are still on in that menu, so maybe its another un-related problem
