Default Decrease Angry Goblin spawn time

I suggest that the angry goblin in Droga's spawn time be reduced from 72h + 10% variance to 48h + 10% variance.

Shady goblin (the quest mob before angry goblin) spawns every 24 hours with no variance. I've been trying to win the angry goblin roll for 3 months now (since 9/24) and I am seeing a steady climb in the # of rollers. When I first started rolling there would be 10-15 people at peak and it's now closer to 25-40 at peak. A slight decrease in spawn times would stop the increase and maaaaaaaybe help bring these numbers down slowly over time but still keep the quest painful for the masochists.

Most people can complete their epic faster than the time it would take to win this roll. Something needs to change.

This. 72h + 10% variance is insane. Even just removing the variance would be a huge win, and reducing the spawn to 48 or even 24 hours would help alleviate how backed up this step of the quest has become.

Default Ridiculous

Every time there's 30+ people rolling now. Can we at least drop the variance or keep it and change it to 2 day? Desperate for some leeway here.

This most recent roll at 11:30am EST had 28 people. Imagine peak hours.

One less day or a change in varience would help cut the crowd down.

Agreed. It's one thing to make a single player spend 9 hours at a camp that they "own" with the hope that they alone will have the opportunity to get the quest piece.

It's quite different with angry goblin where 20+ players assemble to potentially sock for 7 hours waiting for the mere opportunity to roll. Then everyone has to do it again every 3 days over and over until they finally win the roll.

72 hours without variance or 24 hours with variance would be much more reasonable in my opinion.

You're more or less getting Luclin-era loot in Velious: it should be rare/hard.

But regardless of what it should or shouldn't be, it will be it's current timer, because that's how long it was on live, and the point of this place is to recreate classic EQ.
