Default GM Governed rent-to-own program

Anyone think this would fly? Say player A wants to sell something expensive. Player B rents said item and makes regular payments until they pay it off. Player B could pay to rent it for Xpp/ week, or if they eventually pay off the item they can keep it. If player B defaults, the GMs return the item to player A with no refunds to player B. It would solve the Fungi thief problems and would allow players to gear themselves to increase competition.

this will definitely work, because GMs definitely want to spend time facilitating it

GMs dont get paid enough ..... oh wait they dont get paid enough. Plus people on this 17 year old elf sim act like they are a quarter of the age of the game itself.
