Definitions matter. The big ones are rare and do not represent the bulk of mass shooting statistics. See Sweden sex laws for analog.
Yeah definitions are everything, when you define a mass shooting as something like 3 or more victims from a single shooter then inner city gang violence are by far the bulk of them according to FBI statistics last I checked

But torture the data enough and it will yield the results you want. If you want to make a profile that mass shooters are unhinged white conservatives, I’m sure there’s a way to use data qualifiers to show this

Americans are ok with organized crime murders to the extent that they dont overflow into areas that are not dominated by the organized crime.

It was like that in the old days with the black hand, and even in the wild west with Jesse James and other ranchers killing each other.

When crime spills out of bad neighborhoods into good ones that's when the police start to do something about it.

The more organized the crime the more we're ok with it even, like for example the leaders of all nations are involved in an extremely large web of organized crime but it's so organized that we give most of it a full pass.

It's disorganized crime we hate.

If people are expected to die, like gang members, cops or soldiers, no one bats an eye. But kids or middle class citizens, and everyone loses their minds!

Jib I kinda think that's unfair to cops. They deal with crime in bad neighborhoods all the time, which is where the incoherent leftist idea comes from that those neighborhoods are somehow both "overpoliced" (cause the cops are racist and just wanna arrest black people!) and also "underpoliced" (cause the cops are racist and only care about helping white people!). The cops just go where the crime is happening, if a crime happens in a typically low crime area, more cops can respond to that specific event.

The killer was engaged by law enforcement outside the school before he went inside.
There's no arming teachers or guards that would have helped.
Arming teachers would start a whole nother vector of future drama.

They're gonna propose a gun bill and the GOP is gonna veto it. Nothing will change.
Gun fetishists are keep going to sacrifice children. Thoughts and prayers, though!

Haha what?? Good lord "sacrifice children", get a grip.

The guy who killed him was a border patrol agent. Had he been working as an armed security guard at the school instead, not a single kid might have been killed.

There are armed guards at all sorts of places and literally NEVER are their weapons used in these kind of attacks. There are armed guards at the grocery store when the money truck or whatever comes to refill the ATMs. And banks. Nobody just runs up and yoinks their gun, is that what you think the "new vector" would be if schools had armed guards?

These shootings tend to happen at gun free zones. Never heard of a mass shooting at a gun show.
