Default Loading Game in Windowed Mode

ok so how can I force EQ to load up in windowed mode? I can alt/enter at login screen and it goes to windowed mode, when I click the EQ server (P99) it starts to load and goes straight into full screen and refuses to load in full screen. How can I make it windowed mode and KEEP it windowed mode from the start?

Isn't there a file in the folder I can edit to keep it in windowed mode?

Check the 'WindowedMode=' line in eqclient.ini, in the everquest root directory. Should read TRUE.

What's weird is I didn't have that file in my emu folder, I copied the one from my main EQ game folder and pasted it in the emu folder and yes its true. I didn't have this problem last time though. What I don't understand is why do I not have the eqclient.ini file on my emu folder?

If you have logged in at least once, I would think you should have that file. Are you sure its not hidden by folder view options? I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean by 'your emu folder'. Additionally, after logging in, alt+entering into window mode, and logging out (shutting down client completely), what happens when you launch_titanium.bat again?

What happens is .............

I click EQ icon to load game
it goes straight into full screen aka black screen
I click alt/enter and it goes to halfscreen windoed mode
I log in and it goes to server select in windowed mode STILL
I click P99 and it begins loading the server and goes straight to fullscreen/black screen

I need it to load from the start in windowed mode like my laptop does.
btw this is a brand new machine thats never ran emu before

and yes its EQ Titanium I am trying to run.

I really have no idea. A few things to try/mess with:
1.) First, why is your fullscreen mode black? I know you're wanting to work in a window, which is just fine, but that shouldn't be. If this is a new machine, have you already updated the graphics drivers?
2.) When you first launch the client, click 'Options' and go through the prompts.. it may fill in some values somewhere or modify/create eqclient.ini. I don't know for sure, but it wouldn't hurt.
3.) I think if you can get logged in to a character, and then /q and restart client, more settings in eqclient.ini may get populated.

Just some things to try. I'll keep thinking though!

I tried using WinEQ, it logs me in, goes to server select but when I try to connect to P99 it kicks back to the log in screen every single time. seriously lol wtf? I have done this 1000 times on various machines and it has always worked fine.

If I could just log in ONCE I think I could adjust settings and be fine but I cannot even get into the server for some reason.
