And plenty. People say it all the time. "I'm the right guy for the job." "You've got the right man", "There's a problem and I'm the guy to fix it", "I was chosen for this part" "I was the chosen one for that role." You deem this as bad behavior, I deem this as someone trying to tackle a problem. Whether they are doing it right, is a different conversation. If you say that about yourself, you are confident, and find yourself as the right guy for the job. That's a good thing.

I dont know much about american politics, but I know that the president election campaigns in america starts very very very early...like 1-2 years before the election.
I also know that the Democrats "battle" right now who their candidate for President should be (I think there are like 20+ candidates right now or something like that?)

But how does it work for the Republicans right now? Is the current President always the candidate for a 2nd term, or will there be also some kind of battle who the republican candidate for the next President election should be?

Technically the Democratic primaries aren't until February, and Trump would have to choose not to run for re-election.

The chances of him losing the nomination are non-existent.
