Call of Flame quest question

Looking at this quest, I am curious - can you just do the final turn in of the head or do you need to do all of the steps along the way?

Iirc, final mob is a triggered one by doing all the steps along the way. So cannot just give head without doing previous steps

Not sure to be honest. The only way to spawn Vance Bearstalker is by doing the quest till the end but If the low level poachers from the other quests drop the same “Poachers Head” maybe you can just gank one of the lower level ones and hand that in.

It might be possible to skip the quest if someone spawns Vance and can't kill him, then you bring in a kill team. Can't imagine that's very common though.

He will despawn after awhile from what I remember.
