Game Mechanics: Tani N'Mar in Nek 3rd gate, Rogeu epic mob

i have read in many guides and in commons going back, that he should return to his spawn point after chasing someone anywhere(zone line for instance) as soon as he loses agro from all targets he should just stop and stand where he is till its time for him to despawn.
currently to runs back to the rogues guild.

I actually do remember this, but it is low priority.

I recall the NPC walking back to spawn point, but he would glitch so that he would clip through the ceiling of the house. It made it possible to pickpocket him through the ceiling.

that was an "exploit" of sorts, that was fixed later on. found evidence on allah.

With much thanks to Geffin for showing me the ropes, and much thanks to Wisby for dropping by to heal me and buff me, Friday night I stole the "Stained parchment bottom" from the rogue guild-master within Neriak. During the attempts, amazingly I aggroed him only once. I was standing next to the zone line when it happened and immediately backed through. Even so, I went from my 1250 hit points when next to him to under 200 when I finished zoning! Tani hits hard and fast! Even without his backstab!

Sounds like he was pulled to the zone line and remained there, just backing up a smidge whenever aggroed.
