If you consider that even with two parties, the republican is more like a block than the democratic party and it's easy to see why:

some leftists are for the environment.
some leftists are for agriculture.
Some leftists want more bike lanes....


and my point is that the left is always fragmented.

Hell, all you have to do as a right winger is say guns. immigration. abortion and you get everyone on board.

In Canada, there is one conservative party.

14 others lean more left than the conservatives.
1 other lean more right.

The pattern and trend is recognizable in most countries.
