Weapon first then any thing else
saved up 120 plat so what ever the weapon cost and then any ranger gear after that.

Definitely recommend Sword of Skyfire at that price - great ratio and it sells for almost nothing because it stops being usable at level 45. By that time you will have had enough time to save up for a Woodsman's Staff or Jade maces.
