The Chinese are a horrible people and culture. No spirit, no innovation, just a single minded determination to advance themselves. It’s sad that high IQ emotionally intelligent attractive Elect members have to resort to our own forms of tribalism to combat those of our species that will never permit a truly free and open world. Alas, we must play the cards were dealt. Hopefully whitey wakes up. A Chinese world is a truly horrifying prospect.

If modern day Chinese Communism triggers you, The Hive in Alpha Centauri was orders of magnitude worse. Inventing Genejack worker slaves which can't feel pain. Living literally in crowded underground bunkers as a reclusive society (funny you mention sunlight). They took the caste system to another extreme, its citizens forced into roles like insect drones would be. Hence The Hive. Atheistic brutal police state. In a sense they were kind of an over the top parody of Communism but also a warning. North Korea isn't too far off from it. All that being said they were fun to play from time to time, evil can be fun.
