Responding with "nope" is kind of a rude way to tell someone you don't accept their offer, in this guys defense, but I have a feeling you knew that. Also i have an extreme urge to re-arrange your UI so it makes sense.

*Takes off reading glasses* Ok, if this happens again—try attaching a "Sir" or "Maam" at the end of your Nope statement. So it will come out like this: "No Sir".

Example in the field:

Bag-of-dicks_01 tells you, "Can I plz give you my 97pp for your Said_Item_01?"
You tell Bag-of-dicks_01, "No Sir"

You may find a more pleasing results.
